RE: Complicated Times With Complicated Issues:

The stress can become overwhelming. I personally use something known as the "box breath" to remain calm and reset my fight or flight response.

It is tricky to be sure. I'm still struggling with the stress from the CCP virus killing my cat. He was my best friend for fifteen years. All the rest of this human drama pales in comparison, at least to me.

There are many bad actors on all sides, but this is all part of the societal breakdown that has been initiated by the abrogation by THE PEOPLE of their moral agency. When someone, or many someones, give up their responsibility to live morally, those entrusted with acting on their behalf simply cannot keep up and will inevitably become corrupt.

Unfortunately, we have been generationally conditioned to believe that it is the job of the police to maintain the morality of society. Nothing could be further from the truth, and this would never work anyway, even if the police were genuinely here for We The People, which they are not. Their sole purpose is to defend the wealthy from the poor.

Sorry this is not very comforting, but is the dynamic which must be addressed and understood by a majority before any of this can be fixed. Personal responsibility is the only answer. This applies to the immoral behavior of the police, the riots and the CCP virus outcomes.

Sorry to hear about your cat.

Thank you. I miss him terribly.

Stay strong.
