Hoverfly
Hi all,
Today I am showing a picture of a hoverfly on a bottlebrush flower that is growing in my back yard, which I converted to black and white.
I am a little surprised that I got good detail in the wings, as it was taken with a slowish shutter speed at the long end of the lens [135mm]. Being so close the background is nicely blurred, but luckily the insect is quite sharp.
