The Bitshares State of the Network Reports seeks to combine raw data from a wide range of metrics and combine them into meaningful information to identify emerging trends and changes in the Bitshares network.
Observation from this week
This section will highlight any observations made while analysing the data.
A new version of the Bitshares core client has been released this week (v2.0.171101). This newest release contains updates to the Voting UI which follows on from the stylish updates to the user dashboard from the last release. The user dashboard and asset explorer also received some tweaks in this release. Check out all the updates HERE.
Due to an unforeseen event, new code in the BitShares back-end, that was supposed to only active by end of November, caused a disagreement with block production nodes. Witness nodes rolled back to previous version of the core software for a speedy resolution to the issue. You can read the announcement HERE. A new release of the core updated software has also been released and witness are encouraged to review and update their nodes by 2017-12-08 15:40:00 UTC. You can read the announcement HERE
Bitspark has announced that it has received funding from ‘RGAx’. The innovation accelerator of Reinsurance Group of America is one of the world's largest life reinsurance companies headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. You can see the official announcement HERE
@Stan Larimer will be the guest speaker at a bitcoin meetup in Austin Texas next Monday. He has provided a sneak peak of the address to the cryptocurrency community in Austin which you can find HERE
@agorise has released a video of the upcoming Multi-chain mobile wallet codenamed ‘Carbon’. Along with the video the following comment was found in the description ‘The core code for this new mobile wallet is mostly done. The animations are being coded now. We hope to have a Beta 1 release ready for download before Christmas this year.’. You can view the video HERE
AEX Exchange has listed smartcoin markets suggesting these markets will be trading soon alongside the only other base paid BTC. The base pairs listed on AEX are BTC, BitUSD, BitJPY, BitKRW and BitCNY.
The latest ‘Agorise Report’ was released this week; sharing updated for C-IPFS, Stealth and Blinded Transactions, POS Systems, Mobile Wallets and graphenej. Seems like work of Stealth has been the focus with some really promising results including the fee accumulator actually buying the FBA ‘STEALTH’ from the top of the order books every hour. @full-steem-ahead (verbaltech2) has released his monthly witness update report. He has commented that he will be focusing on notification system improvements in the coming month as reporting on current resource usage of his witness nodes as well as testnet servers. Check out the full report HERE

That Agorise mobile wallet looks amazing. If you follow that direction for the main Bitshares UI client you are setting yourself up to win. It is the wallet that other DEX projects are working on, but you apparently already (almost) have. Could be huge.
