RE: Bitshares - State of the Network - 8th February 2017

in #bitshares8 years ago (edited)

I welcome the updates, and I'm flagging only to reduce (but not eliminate) the rewards on this post. I'm aware of the historical connections between Steem and Bitshares (and indeed that is a large part of the reason this post is overrewarded, as likely were the other 20), but after almost a year, it is time for Steem to stand on its own, and for Bitshares posts to be viewed as they are: Reasonable "crypto news" posts about the #26 (by market cap) blockchain project. Such posts are welcome, and it is perfectly reasonable for them to receive some rewards, but they don't belong near or at the top of Trending IMO. I would prefer to see a portion of these rewards redistributed to many other posts and posters.

Sad to see this action; but at least i can say i appreciate that you left a comment.

Your opinion is obviously your own; but i do get the impression that these weekly reports are well received and appreciated; if i didn't i would spend many hours producing them each week; my impressions are based off the comments i receives; the 200 avg views per week as well as seeing the reports being translated to Russian and Chinese as well as being reposted to Facebook, Twitter and Golos where they are loved, retweeted and regolod..?..

I also think you will find that in the future Steem and Bitshares will have more than just history in common ;)

Thank you for the comment.

regolod..?..

LOL. Well like I said, it is good quality work and I'm sure that is the result of serious effort and care. I didn't mean to imply otherwise in any way. I'm supportive of crypto news and project reports, and if this post weren't already getting massive vote support, I'd probably vote for it (as I have for other crypto-related posts). All a matter of a balance.
