RE: Bitshares - State of the Network - 27th June 2017
good news that crypviser decided to launch using bitshares rather than ethereum - it shows the momenteum is shifting -- great post and i it helps me learn a lot quickly too
100% This also fits well into the 850,000 Operations in 1 day / 9 per second! as mentioned we ran a stress-test showing capabilities of over 20,000 operations per second on cheap hardware. If the network was doing 20,000 Ops per second imagine how profitable the DAC would be an as such we could pay our block producers to have much better hardware than the hobby rigs used for stresstest :)
As someone that has tried to get into ETH ico in the last few weeks and experienced the results first hand i cannot imagine how someone could run a production grade system on Ethereum as it stands today (99% of the time it is fine but if someone can flood the network and bring TXs to a halt it would obviously impact certain business models). I know they have things in the pipeline to hopefully resolve this issue.
you are kind to reply and i am not technically aware - i hope to learn by reading a lot of posts here on steem and on your page too - i am a musician and artist - some of my music and paintings are up on my page and i write about travel and day to day too - your welcome to drop in if your interested and i would value your advice on what i should post about too -David

I think this is the best news of the week. Better than the actual tps record. We already know what bitshares is capable of, anyways.
yar right Great Work! useful info.
