ok so you load Bitcoin on to a bitpay visa and start spending, my Bitcoin came from Steemit as i converted steem power to Bitcoin and then transferred to my bitpay wallet - from there i put it on the visa card and it shows as USD.

Ahhh, thank you. I was confused how Steem Power was used. It was BTC bought by converting it to BTC. The light bulb went off. Thanks for the clarification.

if you don't spend does it keep its btc value or use value?
it will go up and down with BTC price changes in your normal wallet but once its exchanged to USD and sits on your bitpay visa the BTC price going up or down does not effect it
