Cryptocurrency trading bot strategies can be based on individual psychology and technological aptitude. This article is about the hidden prerequisites for a stronger friendship with the Profit Trailer bot.

Mapping a connection to the bot
As of June 2018, the Profit Trailer (PT) bot is like a puppet which needs a master to give it clothing, props and animation into its storyline. It is like a Do-It-Yourself kit for a financial technology (fintech) assistant which helps me do things with my money. Impossible things merely 5 years ago unless I was a trained and certified specialist. Profit Trailer uses my instructions in the form of computer code to manage my money by buying and selling cryptocurrencies for profit on an exchange. This technology is called a “bot”, short for robot, because once it is setup accordingly it can run fully automated and without interruption, for example when it is set up on a Virtual Private Server (VPS).
The cryptocurrency markets are relatively new and few people can claim to be professional financial advisors in the field at this time. It is the time of the first major gold rushes. There are many trading philosophies and theories which can be applied but the risk of losing one’s majority of funds is always present. There are intelligent strategies which can be applied and their consideration is the aim of this article.
Since autumn of 2017, the PT bot community has been teaching people trading skills at baffling speeds. Many people without previous knowledge or interest have become crypto-this and crypto-that traders. Some are treating it like a fun game, or a mere program with which it is possible to make “extra cash”. While such an approach may be a decent introduction into the “blockchain revolution”, in the long term it may have serious consequences. I know that crypto trading for fun is fun, but it is also extremely dangerous for life on the planet: it is almost like burning books to keep warm outside instead of reading them to learn how to build a warm wherever one is.
As a computational assistant, the bot must be on my team, therefore I must teach it how to trade cryptocurrencies based on how I perceive myself within the Bitcoin market. Not everyone thinks alike, and perhaps no other person will come up with identical strategies. I look for advantages. That is why I must define “me” and only then program the bot. What kind of person am I? The answer is personal and significant when speculating intelligently about cryptocurrencies.
I must know myself and work with what I have. If I know I thrive by being abrupt and impulsive I may try “scalping” and day-trading by the minute. If I know I enjoy patience with which I can observe start-ups unfold into mature companies I may try long term investing. From my experiences I know I have the following skills necessary for the type of trading I do: a respect for clarity in communication, patience, curiosity for learning, interest in fundamental research and development as well as usage of new blockchain tools, thinking over longer terms, sharing values, accepting stop losses, passion for risk intelligence, awareness of time, mathematical aptitude (especially percentages), personal organization, ability to venture into complex intellectual unknowns.
What, Who, Why, When, Where, How am I?
I am a human being with a family. I work as a freelancing cybersecurity expert, helping people establish threat intelligence. I am moving with my reason and my heart because I feel alright doing so. I plan time for daily trading at my home office. Or perhaps: I am an engineer executive at the factory all day so I only trade whenever I have time on my laptop at the beach. .
