Bitdefender provides its own intelligence to combat threats to companies
Bitdefender Advanced Threat Intelligence is a service which provides better visibility for security consultancy and large firms in the threatening landscape and enables them to defend themselves better against them. Security analysts may access threat contexts, data and infrastructure information so that attacks can be stopped immediately and damaged. The concept of "intelligence" is in this connection to be able to have a timely understanding of the developments of the attacks, their origins and goals, and the development of the safety landscape as a whole. Information about threats is vital for big businesses facing not only ordinary threats and risks to which all businesses are exposed, but also advanced threats like APT, which see big players like rivals or even sovereign states trying to obtain information through enterprise infrastructure. Bitdefender has now announced the creation of a new SOC (Security Operations Center) in the United States in support of the company's customers in the fight against the threats to provide better service to its customers and enhance the capacity of Bitdefender Cyberthreat Intelligence Labs. Daniel Clayton, a previous NSA official and British government consultant, will be employed by the new SOC. "Our advanced Threatening Science services enable our customers to take full advantage of our vast international telecommunication network and a large organization that brings together a wide range of companies, Harish Agastya, senior vice-chairman, enterper solutions at Bitdefender, said.
