Bitconnect is crashing like crazy!!
Price is swinging wildly in Livecoin, CoinExchange and Novaexchange. It's at about $40 from a high of $150 in a few minutes.
It's down from number 12 to number 27 at https://coinmarketcap.com/ in a few hours. And the site is offline for maintenance.
Nightmares are about to come true and dreams shattered. Looks like they are facing serious problems.

Dont put your hard earned money into this they are just preying on unenformed people that dont know any better. Red flags everywhere right from the start. You would be better of putting money into your own mining rig or something like that. I hope you can get your money back.
Whether it will happen today, tomorrow or next year. One thing is absolutely certain. BCC will shatter the hopes of 99.9% of its investors.

I have Followed people just to WATCH like Craig Grant and Trevon James, Not to invest in Bitconnect myself but just to see how it was going to play out for some time before I would consider getting involved myself. I hope for the BEST for everyone that has any money involved in Bitconnect. Something just did not seem right for me to get involved although I was really happy to see many people making loans and receiving money everyday. Lets just see how this plays out for now. STEEM On !!!

My thoughts: meh. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Do I have money in it. Yes. Is it more than I am willing to lose? No.
The rule of crypto: never invest more than you can lose, even down to the smallest allocation in your portfolio.

I think there must be a whale who dumb the coin much, and sold it for ridiculous low price. It must be insider of bitconnect. They realise bitconnect can't be sustained if it keeps on going higher.. So they created a panic sell.

I think price of bitconnect in coinmarketcap is not accurate.
price is 43 $ but graph shows 124$ .
coinmarketcap has a bug where the graphs you often view will stop updating in the browser and will get stuck at a date.
You can check this by opening a different browser and you should see that it's up to date.
You can fix this by clearing the cached files from your browsers history. Just the cached files, you don't need to clear cookies or anything else.

I've heard of bitconnect because big names on Steemit have been promoting it. I even saw one of them run FB ads. I honestly never put much faith in the Bitconnect platform. Maybe I'm wrong, but I couldn't find any info about the development team or the CEO. Usually, when the owners/founders aren't willing to associate themselves with their own creation, that's not a good sign. If Bitconnect can recover from this, right now would be a good time to buy some coins.
I would not count on this ever recovering. It's extremely risky to buy the BitConnect coin as it could literally go down to $0.
