For anyone with critical thinking skills, or any ounce of knowledge, this was only a matter of time. I'm sorry if that is a little harsh, but I have never seen anything more obvious
This was on their freaking website!! What does it look like!?
Now I'm not sure how so many people got suckered into this, I really cannot fathom it because all the information was right there. If you even went to their website, it told you it was a pyramid and ponzi scheme! Did people not look at it!? Do their investors not have a single freaking brain cell that they couldn't recognize this as the most identifiable scheme in modern history? People have been preaching this scheme since its inception and the fact more dildos were going to invest in the ico is just too rich.
Now, we all will make a mistake or two investing in this market. That is understandable, not all projects will survive, but there is a difference between being wrong about investing in other projects and this one.
What does this mean for the rest of the market?
Now, do I think this is probable....yes. Anyone with a pulse could see Bitconnects fall would bring a major dip in the market, but to what degree is uncertain. Will it have a domino affect and we might see other tokens crash and burn? I'm looking at you Tron and Tether. I'm not going to speculate if that will happen, because as much as I think I could give some evidence on way or another, I really have no idea.
-Option 1. this dip last a week and we see the bad projects weeded out, then we bounce back on and incredible bull run
-Option 2 This dip turns into a prolonged bear market. We see a crash similar to the dot com one, but the crypto market is on a much smaller scale. Crypto is kind of forgotten until the next economic crisis and it comes roaring back after with new vengeance and tech that will make this run look like a bunny hill.
Personally, I hope and think option 2.

Just what I thought so, too bad for those who put their life on it. Totally agree with you that this is obviously a ponzi scheme, maybe people just want instant reward with less effort that's why they are still into it.
Yes, as much as I harped on them, it can be easy for people to get roped in, especially if they are new to investing. You're right, that certainly could be the case

Knowing that either those promoters are dumb and oblivious as pricks, or only care about snatching up as much money as possible, he probably doesn't feel very bad.
Oh noes! so basically they will only get the interest earnings from their lending wallet. How about those people waiting for the ROI from the money they invested in the first place? This platform is indeed a garbage hahaha!
I don't think they will get anything because the BCC coin is worth 4 bucks right now and no one except the BCC platform uses or trades it. Plus the website and all their services are down.

Completely, I'm glad their time is up. I am tired of seeing that garbage promoted in videos and posts.
I think a lot of other cryptos will fail as well.

Finallay, I actually expected them last week to go down. But hell yeah it is finally over those fraudsters. Going to be so much fun to read the commentaries under those paid youtubers, that faked so many people into bitconnect.
