Recently Robinhood announced a few days ago its great entry into the investment market in terms of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin and Ethereum with many possibilities to expand to other currencies. At the moment it is in a closed beta but they have a website to sign up.

There is a great advantage and this is that they offer that allow to operate in cryptocurrencies without any commission, something that has not been seen until now. Buy and sell without cost and without commission, and no custody of cryptocurrencies. However, they have limitations

In the case of cryptocurrencies, leveraged purchases are not allowed and neither do they use some or all of the funds as collateral for leveraged transactions in the current or current stock exchange. It is therefore difficult to see how they will make money with this service if, as they promise, they do not use differences in purchase prices to have a margin. The logical thing will be that in the future they allow leveraged operations, but the conditions will be harder than in the stock market due to the high volatility.
