The weekend got off to a good start as Bitcoin pumped a whopping 7% to break through any kind of resistance there was expected to reach at $6,400, pushing straight up to $6,700.

Saturday morning saw bitcoin lead the market into more green as another new all-time high for 2019 was recorded for bitcoin. While most traders expected tough resistance around $6,400 for bitcoin, the price managed to jump straight up to $6,700 without ease.

Another notable milestone to note, is that the total market cap has now broken $200 billion on Saturday, also a new high for 2019.

Bitcoins dominance continues to climb as it jumped 1% to 59% dominance on the morning following the rally.

What is also very notable is that bitcoins rally did not negatively affect the top 10, with all other altcoins also seeing positive gains on the morning.

Could bitcoin break $7,000 by Monday? All eyes will be on bitcoin this weekend to see if we can get more upside movement.
