Here I am once again dropping info on my favorite cryptocurrency as Bitcoin is improving and braking bounds to the joy of crypto traders. Although I am really not a trader on a day-to-day basis but I indulge in studying crypto world looking for cryptocurrencies with future prospects.

What is my favorite coin?

Just like I pointed out in my entry into this contest that my favorite coin is ADA. As we all know that as crypto users, we have a host of cryptocurrencies we invest on based on their future prospects. Asides ADA, my next favorite cryptocurrency is #LUMEN. I know you might be surprised why I decided to pitch my tent with cryptocurrencies of current lower values. Don't be dismayed they are the beauty of cryptocurrencies for the patient buyers. If indeed you want to delve into this types of cryptocurrencies you must be the patient and observing type.

What is LUMEN?

Lumen (XLM) is the native cryptocurrency for #Stellar, an open source blockchain payment system.

The purpose of Stellar is to connect financial institutions via the blockchain and provide cheap transactions in developing markets.

Stellar was created in July 2014. I got to know about Lumen early this year during a research on cryptocurrencies I could invest on through a friend.

Why Did I choose Lumen?

I chose Lumen because I believe from research that it is one of the cryptocurrencies with great future prospect. Another reason I chose this cryptocurrency was the rate at which it was climbing up the ladder on coinmarketcap to touching distance of the very bests cryptocurrencies. I was thrilled when I discovered it rose sharply to be ranked among the very best cryptocurrencies on coinmarketcap. XLM is presently rated at No 12 in the coin market as at the time of writing this.

How Long Have I Had XLM?

Just like I said in my introduction above, I bought Lumen (XLM) in July and I've not even given it a follow-up since I got the coin until yesterday 25th November when its value to by 68% in 24hours. The funny side of this I that I might not have checked the cryptocurrency but for this contest.

Lumen's current performance

Lumen is doing very fine lately. In the last 36hours, it's worth rose by 68% but you know for Oliver twists like me, when it is still below 1USD, we won't consider it as a notable profit. Although in the last 24hours now the price has dropped with about 8.7%. According to Binance, XLM is currently priced at # $0.172350

Future Prospects of Lumen

According to experts, Lumen has been predicted to attain over $1.00 in 2021 based on it's performance graph below. Stellar price today is $0.174020 USD with a 24-hour trading volume of $2,826,217,802 USD. Stellar is down 8.76% in the last 24 hours. The current CoinMarketCap ranking is #11, with a market cap of $3,676,896,609 USD. It has a circulating supply of 21,129,164,743 XLM coins and the max. supply is not available.

My Plan For Lumen

Truth be told, I intend selling off this coin in about 2 months from now so as to be able to have funds to reinvest on it and other promising cryptocurrencies. Another reason I need to sell this coin is because I am in a little financial constraints and funds is not forthcoming
