Cryptocurrencies, a Rebellion against the Global Financial System

Cryptocurrencies are here to stay. From their most radical advocates like John McAfee to their staunchest detractors like Jaime Dimon, everyone knows it's a topic one can no longer ignore. In fact, we hear about them each day more and more, and Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies are keywords that recurrently appear in the news.
We may support them, we may not believe in them, but nobody can deny the influence they are having in the economic sphere. Who does not like the idea of decentralized money, money that cannot be controlled by bankers, the politicians, the corrupt ones, money that cannot be printed at their convenience to finance a decadent government? Precisely that is the point, and the bankers are among the first to raise their voices against what they call a “financial bubble” or “money without support,” when we all know that it was the bankers who abandoned the gold standard forcing citizens to trust fiat currencies whose money supply can be inflated ad infinitum.
The detractors of cryptocurrencies never rest articles around here, prohibitions over there. Their strategy is based on restricting them, and where they cannot do it, they try to spread fear, uncertainty, and doubt. Of course, there are always naive people who are dragged by them and fall into the networks to remain under control.
The world is changing for the Millennials are waking others as well, tired of so many abuses by the political and economic powers, tired of being dominated by them every day. The system resists. Bankers demonize cryptocurrencies, legislative powers censor them, persecute them and restrict them, but the idea of Satoshi Nakamoto is here, and there is no turning point. It is no longer merely about Bitcoin, there are thousands of other altcoins used to escape the financial control of the banks, and they are a tool of the oppressed that gives them the power of money that cannot be inflated beyond their programmed rate of growth.
Cryptocurrencies are a reality, and even when the economic elites will repeatedly try to undermine them, to crush them, it is up to us to believe in a world free of centralized monetary control, it is up to us to defend the idea of a mindful governance and ensure that the generations to come to inherit a better world, a world where they have True control of our finances. I have faith that humanity will achieve it. I have faith in you, in us.
The world is unjust, hunger lurks in every corner of the planet, the limited resources of the earth are distributed very unequally, few have many, and many have little or nothing, the bourgeois powers that have controlled us will always continue trying to expand their sphere of power… Cryptocurrencies give us the tool of decentralized money but cannot change the economic structure of the world. Capitalism has been entrenched for more than three centuries in our society; therefore, we must remain vigilant not to allow the instrument that was created in the past to free us to end up being used by the powerful to dominate us.
