You should check out Decred (DCR). Imo miles ahead of Dash and less (not) scammy at all. They don't have the marketing of Dash, though.

I will, thanks! I have bought a little bit of DCR on Bittrex, and have heard good things about their governance. It would seem to me that proper governance would allow for more marketing, so maybe that will come in the future with Decred.
