RE: University Professor Says Bitcoin and Decentralized Networks are the FUTURE
I was messing around with IOTA the other day and in fact, it felt just like Bitcoin in terms of payment method and speed. Not bad, not bad at all for a 'no fees' coin. I can imagine that for micropayments, such a 'loose network' could be used for low price payments where final confirmation is not really necessary and the 'no fees' structure does not destroy the economics of the transaction involved.
So I can sense that we will definitely move towards a frictionless open source decentralised payment network, whether it is Bitcoin, IOTA, RaiBlocks or something else.
After all, who can compete with 'free'?
