I hav a Question about the wallet / currency here and what to do with it?¿?¿ @.@"
Hi everyone, I'm totally new here as you've all probably just guessed due to the title of this post so please excuse me for being a total and utter Steemit Virgin lol..
Anyway I am just wondering what you do when you've made loads of cash here like I've checked out my wallet and it say's things about bitcoins. .
I have no idea what to do with these as I have genuinely never used Bitcoins or anything Cryptocurrency before so I've got a lot to learn..
Is it possible to withdraw cash when and if it's made here into things like British Pounds (GBP) or U.S. Dollhairs Coughs, I mean Dollars! (USD) or any other currency or can you only withdraw everything and have it only as Bitcoins or whatever else there is as there was a few other options in the wallet section which has left me totally and utterly
If anyone can help out / share what you know and stuff then that would be great as I have been reading stuff here and there but I'm still kinda ...
Thanks so much!!! I hope you all have a very nice day (you and your families! ^_^) . Take care and stay safe!
Thanks to @arbitrarykitten for letting me us this gif! ❤
Hello, Welcome to Steemit.
If you want the full version answer you should check out the FAQs. But to answer your questions: Your STEEM Power and Steem Dollars can be 'traded' for STEEM. STEEM and Steem Dollars can be easily exchanged for Bitcoin (or other cryptocurrencies) using BlockTrades. Just go to your wallet click on your STEEM (or Steem Dollars) and select 'Sell'. Of course you will need a Bitcoin address for that (Since you are new to this, I suggest spending a couple of hours to get yourself up to speed on the basics of cryptocurrencies). After you have your bitcoins you can exchange them for a number of fiat currencies on one of the popular exchanges such as Coinbase or Poloniex (there are a lot so it's best to judge them yourself). That's the essence of it. There's a pile of other stuff just on the Steemit platform itself such as 'Powering Up/Down' and and the Internal Market, but this comment is getting too long for me. Just get yourself familiar with the cryptocurrencies's basics and read throw Steemit's FAQ section and that should clear out most questions.
Hi @guestalpha , thanks a lot for taking the time to reply to my post! Thanks a lot also for explaining that, I'm just slowly going through the FAQ's at the moment anyway to be totally honest and am reading a few posts here on Steemit about it and on Google so thanks again and thank you very much again, I very much appreciate your time.
