Thanks @vlemon...it's a very interesting comment, you would think the stock market and crypto is inversely correlated, but for 2017 and at least the 1st half of 2018, bitcoin and the DOW have been somewhat correlated.
Agreed but in case of financial / monetary crisis I believe people could lose faith in the government control money (USD) and therefore look for other alternatives as Bitcoin.
Cf situations in Turkey, Venezuela...
But this is in case of extreme scenario
