Football Stars Become Official Supporters of Blockchain Platform
Globatalent, The blockchain platform that plans to decentralize the sports industry, is proud to announce the addition of two more exciting official supporters from the world of football.
Marc Bartra, who joined Real Betis during the January transfer window and Seung Woo-Lee, one of South Korea’s most exciting young footballers, have been added to Globatalents glowing portfolio of official supporters. This announcement comes less than a week after the news that Barcelona world class striker Luis Suarez has become an official Globatalent supporter.
Globatalent is a sports blockchain platform that has been co-founded by a team who have accumulated many years within both the sports and blockchain/fintech industries. The platform has arrived to change sports funding for the future generation of athletes. Globatalent is a solution to the large number of athletes in all sports who can not make it to professional status due to economic issues. Using blockchain technology, Globatalent brings fans closer to their sporting heroes by creating a platform where they can invest into their favourite athletes sports plans for a percentage of future rights decided by the athletes themselves. This brings transparency to the world of the sport and will be available to every single sport from all over the world. The CEO of the project, Sunil Bhardwaj is currently at the Token 2049 event in Hong Kong discussing Blockchain and how it will impact the sports industry.
The project is growing and has now attracted the official support of world class defender, Marc Bartra. The versatile Spain international defender has played for FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and now plays for Real Betis. The 27 year old, who was integral in FC Barcelona’s 2015 treble winning season, also overcame disaster when he was injured during the attack on the Dortmund team bus in 2017. He came back fighting and played consistently before joining Real Betis where he is seen as their star defender.
Joining Bartra is South Korean ‘wonderkid’ Seung Woo-Lee, the 20 year old winger who has an incredible goal scoring record for South Korea’s international youth teams. His performances at youth level saw him win many personal accolades and in the summer of 2017, Hellas Verona signed him on a four year deal. He is now breaking into the first team and bringing excitement to the Serie A where his trickery see’s him easily get past defenders.
Bartra and Seung are exciting additions as official supporters of Globatalent, joining world sports stars such as Luis Suarez, Joao Sousa and Mo Evans amongst others.
