LTC is my favorite currency by far. Its fast, cheap to use, very decentralized, and secure. Charlie Lee is the creator and is outspoken on twitter. He has sold off all of his litecoins which has made the currency truly decentralized with no inside holdings whatsoever. When litecoin decides to surge it goes and goes. We could see a sharp rise in value compared to BTC. We see a ratio of 1/5 LTC/BTC in the coming future. We have no idea when this will happen , but believe it will find this place in value at some point.
