Tim Draper: Blockhain can free people from inefficient governments
American investor Tim Draper presented his vision of digital rule based on Blockchain in the inaugural speech at the GovTech Pioneers conference in Vienna
Draper outlined the future in which Blockchain technology using intelligent contracts combined with artificial intelligence will significantly change the role and responsibility of states. "If we combine Bitcoin and Blockchain with intelligent contracts and artificial intelligence, we can create the perfect bureaucracy" - said the investor.
Draper explained his vision of the future on the example of health care. According to Draper, citizens can store all relevant health data, such as X-rays, DNA analysis, blood tests and other discoveries on Blockchain, where the automated system could constantly analyze them using artificial intelligence and send recommendations and warnings to people.
According to Draper, when all this information is saved on Blockchain, it will allow people to emigrate more easily from places where the government is inefficient:
"Insurance, health care and the real estate industry offer terribly low quality services and they need a lot of money. Governments that spend a lot of money for the worst service will feel it first. "
Recently, Draper suggested dividing the US state of California into three parts to make it easier to manage. In an interview in mid-April, Draper criticized what he considered excessive regulation of the IT industry in this state. According to Draper, "even though the weather is amazing and their friends are probably here", there is a small business incentive to stay in California.
