Ayer les hablaba sobre la ignorancia que algunos tenemos sobre la nueva economía en torno a las criptomonedas.

Y para contribuir con aquellos que como yo, no entendemos a profundidad este nuevo mundo, estaré esforzándome por traducir a un lenguaje menos técnico y más cercano al común denominador de la humanidad, es decir, trataré de ir deshojando la margarita de términos en torno a las cripto y el cómo se mueve esta economía.

Empezare con lo más básico, que es el concepto de criptodivisa, porque ayer compartí el concepto de TOKEN, y también les dije que había una diferencia entre ambas cosas. La palabra criptodivisa se deriva del inglés crytocurrency y la primera en aparecer fue el famoso Bitcoin (2009), siendo hoy en día la moneda más fuerte en valor de intercambio. Obviamente al ser monedas, son intercambiables, a diferencia de la moneda tradicional o fiduciaria, esta no es palpable, es decir no la tocamos, la podemos tener pero en digital. Tienen una gran ventaja, ningún banco te puede cercenar el derecho a acceder a tu dinero, como tampoco ningún intermediario, lo que vayas a intercambiar lo haces de manera directa. Entre las monedas más conocidas, además del Bitcoin, están: Litecoin, Dogecoin, Megacoin, Peercoin, Ripple, Steem, entre otras.

Hay quienes piensan que en un futuro no muy lejano, dejara de existir el dinero físico y que todo se moverá en torno a las criptodivisas. Este tipo de dinero tiene sus detractores también, pues en menos de 9 años han ido desplazando el control que se tiene sobre las divisas físicas, obviamente a nadie le gusta que le quiten el control de algo y menos a los bancos centrales que dependen de los Estados. Es por ello que se define como una moneda de carácter descentralizado, por lo tanto así será también la economía que se genere con ella.

Con la creación del Bitcoin, se origina una moneda:

Hasta aquí íbamos bien, pero empezaron a aparecer los términos que tanto nos cuesta a veces entender, cuando nos hablan con acrónimos, guao!!, a los jóvenes sobre todo les encanta hablar de esa manera, y anda uno cazando a que se refieren, y si no sabes algo de inglés, pues quedaste como pajarito en grama, mirando para todos los lados. Así que lo primero que tenemos que acostumbrarnos es a esta terminología, conocer su significado. Es mi consejo. Mañana continuaré con el tema, como se generan las cripto. That is why it is defined as a decentralized currency, therefore it will also be the economy that is generated with it.
