Why Bitcoin is an ideal start for Beginners?
For most of them in Steemit, it might sound weird why I'm Proposing Bitcoin today. The reason I'm writing this article is because I found a bunch of people around me confused by the advent of so many coins that are they don't see a point to start. Also, they have the fear of losing the capital if they were to invest in a wrong coin.
Having said that, my proposition to them is since they have been fine with generating 10% returns each year, why not take a portion of their Total investment and buy some Bitcoins. Bitcoin is currently priced at $4000, You might see few correction in the price of Bitcoin but if you look at it in a long term it is expected to go 2x - 5x in the next 2–5 years. The following are the reason I have to justify myself
- Philippines accepted Bitcoin Remittance - Philippines is the fastest growing remittance market in the world. Bitcoins make up 60% of the remittance market.
- Bitcoin is Argentina’s primary source of Remittance - The locals residents in Argentina use Bitcoin for their day to day transaction due to the high inflation.
- Latin America is turning towards Bitcoin
- SMS service for Bitcoin transfers - Right now Bitcoins are used by only people who have access to the internet which is only 30% of the population. With the SMS service starting up, lot of African countries would get onboard to use Bitcoin.
- Atomic swap for Bitcoin - Bitcoin and Litecoin are going to be integrated, making it easier for transacting.
- Transaction speed improvement - right now Bitcoin has a transaction speed of 5–7 transactions per second. Once the transaction speed is increased, the number of merchants adopting it would increase.
This part is for beginners: You need a Wallet to invest in Bitcoins. Coinbase can be used to buy only Bitcoin in exchange of USD.
You can use credit/debit card or Bank Transfer to buy Bitcoins
The interface is quite intuitive and easy to use.
You can also wire transfer the money for same day transaction.
