The Brooklyn Nets considering accepting Bitcoin for tickets

There is still some good news out there, you just have to look for it

The Brooklyn Nets, yea the 2nd best team in the Eastern Conference and one of the favorites to win the championship this year is in talks to enable bitcoin as a means of payment.

Here's the news:

While not huge news this does go to show it's not all bad out there.

Teams and franchises are going to accept crypto as a payment and they are going to pay people in it.

I actually don't think it works very well as a payment option but it does work well as a salary.

Especially if you have a healthy savings already.

Bitcoin goes up over time so the more of it you collect the better off you will be in the future.

Thank you for your contribution,

I find it interesting and great that they would like to accept Bitcoin as a payment method, but to be honest, I don't see Bitcoin as a great tool for accepting such payments, at least not if it payment for tickets, supporter effects and more. If it would be payment for players, then it is different, but Bitcoin si simply too expensive when it comes to transactions to make it fun and great to use...

Of course, Steem would be the best as it is super quick and cheap, but that is of course not interesting yet. But, I would clearly say that there are other coins way more suitable for processing payments than Bitcoin. But, I guess the Bitcoin hype is what makes them think about it, and just mentioning themselves in the same sentence as Bitcoin might feel bullish for both parts!
