Crypto Roulette & Random.org
Crypto Roulette is just a simple game you can play online. And it will show you how much money you'd have now if you had invested $1,000 into 6 random coins on the date that they specify. I'm not really recommending this as a research tool, but it is interesting to be able to quickly see how certain coin/token investments would have faired over time. Of course some of this info is misleading because you're not looking at the charts for these coins. Check with coinmarketcap to make sure you're getting the correct prices for these coins.
With Random.org, you can use their number generator to get a random number and then look at Coinmarketcap to match the coin's/token's overall position on CMC. For example, if I use the number generator and it comes back with #23, then I'll take a look at Qtum because it is the 23rd coin overall by marketcap on CMC. And then I'll commit to learning some more about Qtum.
Both of these ideas shouldn't be used as serious crypto research, but it is a little entertaining if you spend hours researching coins each day.

As you say, I do not think we should recommend this platform as a tool to decide our investments, but maybe with the ingenuity and ingenuity that each one of us could have, it would be possible to find some real and positive use.
The true way of being informed is still the monitoring that we can do to all the cryptocurrencies available with the monitoring in the portals of the main exchanges. Although this involves a considerable investment of our valuable time.
Currently there are blockchain ecosystems that allow us to manage our investments at the same time that they provide us with the quotes of the main exchanges. All without leaving the interface.
