How do BTC transaction fees affect steem?
Observing digital currency charts it becomes obvious that there are constant or temporary correlations between individual currencies and bitcoin. This week's BTC drop (consolidation?) has shown the same in comparison to steem as can be seen on the graphics below. BTC going down while steem going up. The BTC ups and downs on 22 December are almost equally reflected in the steem chart as well. Different than the days before however, they were not contrariwise anymore.
The recent run on BTC has also caused a significant increase of BTC transaction fees (see graphic below). This in turn affects steem transactions as well since users depend on BTC to buy and sell steem.
How has the current peak of BTC transaction fees influenced your behaviour regarding steem?
