Bitcoin vs the negative

in #bitcoin7 years ago

An interesting read this morning on the INC website.

https://www.inc.com/howard-tullman/why-i-bailed-on-bitcoin.html

Interesting and frustrating at the same time. People like this fellow casting their negative aspersions over the Bitcoin crowd of "morons" really gets my goat. I understand Crypto currency is not for everyone...yet......but bitcoin and the many other alt's need backing, they need support in able to grow and become something worthy in the future of money and lifestyle.

And when i say Crypto currency is not for everyone, I talk about those few that have no interest in technology such as email or instagram or twitter, those few that have no clue about the difference in a multimedia message and a text message, but one day all these people will have heard about Bitcoin and one day those few may even enquire at the bank counter about Bitcoin and how to get some.

The Story the guy wrote makes me laugh too, because he all of a sudden realised he owned some Bitcoin miraculously around the time bitcoin hit a high oh and decided to cash out - even though it took him awhile to do so and what do you know, he made a fortune - but that still doesn't change his view Bitcoin is for morons nevermind he just made himself a ton of money! what a joke.

I do believe in the Bitcoin and alt's of now and feel we have a long and prosperous future ahead of us, with the amount of Visa backed debit cards available such as TenX and Spectrocoin (plus may others out there), it is becoming easier to spend your Bitcoin in everyday occurrences. Look on Youtube and you will find numerous videos of people purchasing coffee and breakfasts! Bitcoin is a real thing and no matter how many of these negative minded people are about, I would like to think that there are at least two positive Bitcoin enthusiasts ready to promote it again.

I'd like to hear your thoughts if you have taken the time to read this post, everyone has an opinion it would be interesting to see how many are pro Bitcoin and how many are actually against.

Sort:

The one who write that article is either dumb or don't bother research. There're some mistakes or things that i don't like such as :

  • Bitcoin isn't anonymous, but only pseudonymous because the ledger is public and everyone can see it which means it's traceable.
  • Who would forget their things which are valuable.
  • There's no thing such as Bitcoin account or connect bitcoin to bank account directly.
  • He don't know if bitcoin fraction can be increased by adding more zero after period (.)
  • I think he blame bitcoin because he use crappy centralized wallet/service.

I think he's not only against bitcoin, but also don't bother do research or even understand what he's doing.

Thanks for the response, I couldn't agree more! Viva la bitcoin!
