I will throw in the fact that the Fed is getting ansty about raising rates so they have some room to maneuver when things head south. This will make the market jittery adding fuel to the fire. I dont believe the money will move from equities to crypto just that it will add to the volatility.
Add that to Trump tweeting threats of blowing rocket man (as you call him) to hell, and people are going to freak.
Many fiats will take a beating....ironically, the USD might actually do better in that environment.
Little Rocket Man is actually Trump's nickname for him.
USD is still the world's reserve currency, so when the excrement is about to hit the oscillating air moving device, money retreats to USD as a source of safety.
I feel 100% confident that USD will not be the world's reserve currency in 50 years.
What will replace it? And how will we get there? VERY interesting questions. Chinese curse - may you live in interesting times.
We are all cursed in that regard. Next 50 years are going to be VERY interesting.
