Mark Zuckerberg Is Learning How Cryptocurrency Works

As we all know, at the start of every year, Mark Zuckerberg takes up a resolution like learning mandarin, building an artificially intelligent assistant, running 365 miles in a single year and more.

Just a few days ago, Facebook’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg shared his 2018’s resolution which is little bit different and far less personal, far more vital. Mark Zuckerberg has taken a new year’s resolution to fix his social media platform Facebook.

In that post, he also talked about his increased interest in the world of cryptocurrency. Mark Zuckerberg thinks that cryptocurrency could rebuild people’s faith that technology is a decentralizing force, not centralized.

Mark Zuckerberg said “Many people have lost faith in that promise. With the rise of a small number of big tech companies — and governments using technology to watch their citizens — many people now believe technology only centralizes power rather than decentralizes it.”

“There are important counter-trends to this like encryption and cryptocurrency but they come with the risk of being harder to control. I’m interested to go deeper and study the positive and negative aspects of these technologies, and how best to use them in our services.”

According to Zuckerberg, he will now study the positive and negative viewpoints of cryptocurrencies and blockchain to find out how it would help Facebook. So, Mark Zuckerberg will learn the important aspects of cryptocurrencies and at the same time will work to fix Facebook issues.
