From the Land of Eden Comes Bitcoin TV [bitcoin][tech]

Ok, so this BitcoinTV does not exactly come from Eden, the Biblical paradise, but it is made by Canaan Creative. Well, at least that is what they are claiming. This BitcoinTV is both a Bitcoin Miner and a SmartTV, or at least that is the idea. Canaan creative may just be creating news hype in order to compete against Bitmain, the world's largest producer of Bitcoin Miner equipment, as well as to create appeal to potential investors for their upcoming IPO in Hong Kong.
If you read the news articles, see links below, they'll mention how many Tera-hashes this new Bitcoin mining Smart TV will produce, and some might mention how innovative this is but I don't see this as a great item for Bitcoin mining or furthering the interests of Bitcoin in general. I hope that I am wrong, but I just don't see this as a viable piece of equipment for either a SmartTV or Mining stand point.
Bitcoin mining equipment is loud and produces a lot of heat. Both of these consume a lot of energy in order to produce an inordinately small amount of Bitcoin. Add a Smart TV on top of this screaming hot Bitcoin Miner sounds like a recipe for disaster. I am not saying it can't be done because of course it can be produced, but will consumers buy it and will the devices stay functioning long enough as well as to create some mining value in order to build a returning consumer base?
Two of Bitmain's 14TH S9 Bitcoin Miners make so much heat and noise, it can bring temps in a large room into the 100's of degrees fahrenheit. The noise created sounds like five powerful vacuum machines running at full power. Granted, Canaan Creative's new BitcoinTV will have much less power that Bitmain's S9, creating less heat and less noise so this could be an interesting purchase for a Bitcoin Whale willing to take a chance on the next wave of every day consumer friendly Bitcoin Mining equipment. Consumer friendly every day use Bitcoin mining equipment seems to be Canaan Creative's direction. This could create a new wave of innovative devices that brings cryptocurrency mining to the masses through everyday use devices.
