Hello people! I love this forum and I decided to open a thread that I think would go well , and I hope you like it.
The idea is to posting the news that come out around Bitcoin and criptocurrencies, with a brief explanatory intro and link to the original source . This way to see if we all got somewhere to stay informed of current bitcoin state , without having to be at a thousand places at once.

I am curious about if the upcoming american election is a good event to buy bitcoins before it. It seems a no-brainer that Trump getting elected will cause a spike in the bitcoin price but also for the long term in that the world situation doesn't seem to be getting any better. Another question I have is would bitcoin actually be useful in a global meltdown? Factors such as the possibility of other currencies becoming the norm or even shutdown of the miners. Since I am a total noob buying bitcoins seems to be a good idea but it also seems like a bit of a punt.
