Cryptos, like all money & currency, require confidence
Regardless of whether it's Bitcoin, Ethereum, Gold, Silver, or Fiat currencies....they all require the confidence of those who depend upon them as a medium of exchange or store of wealth. Gold and Silver have been recognized for thousands of years while cryptourrencies are in their infancy. Fiat currency has a lifespan and is designed to expire because of human nature and the abuse by those in power. At present, the crypto space is becoming more widely recognized although its universe is still minuscule. Will the masses adopt cryptocurrencies or will they hit a wall and perhaps fade? When will the price suppression of precious metals end? If it is up to the criminal banks and governments, they would extinguish cryptocurrencies but one of their greatest attributes is that they are out of the reach of those who wish to do it, and us, harm. Price suppression of precious metals will continue until they can no longer manage that but will they devise a way to suppress the price of cryptocurrencies? Time will tell whether mass adoption and acceptance takes hold and to which ones in particular. Whether you agree with the above, we can all agree that we are living in truly interesting and exciting times.
Most crypto will die during the coming crisis, a few useful players will live. Gold and silver have had value for 5000 years, so no need to worry about trust there.. All fiat currencies in history have failed.. so no confidence there.. Pretty much this is all known how it's gonna go down.
