BITCOIN SOFT/HARD FORK 🤔 Will Aug 1st IMPACT Cryptocurrency Prices? 📉
Hello Steemians and Crypto Investors,
Suppoman Udemy made some interesting and logical points about the current state of the crypto market and upcoming Bitcoin soft/hardfork August 1st. The majority of the current crypto market definitely seems to be experiencing some erratic trading and quick sell-offs. This is likely from new traders and a mix of irrational emotions in the current market instead of holding strong for the long term. I feel the key to successful investing is understanding the difference between the long term holds and pump and dumps while learning to trade the more speculative coins without emotion.
That being said its always good to buy the dips and accumulate the coins you've done research on and believe in for the long term. A few of my main long term coins are definitely LTC, Dash, Monero, STRAT, Decred, ANS, and Factom. Please share your long term holds in the comments.
What I like is that he points out that the Bitcoin update is a GOOD and necessary thing. Not only to worry about.:)
Exactly. The entire blockchain is going through changes and making positive progress. If anything it should be looked at a strong sign for the future of BTC and the top Cryptos.
I think the Bitcoin update will go smoothly. Ive seen this before several years ago there was an update and the market sold off because people where worried. The update went smoothly and the market rallied.
That's good to know. Those are my thoughts on it also even though I'm a fairly new investor into BTC and cryptos.
I think bitcoin will go sideways until the update is rolled out. And once the update is out and if there are no problems I think bitcoin will make new highs. It may break the $5000 mark rather quickly.
Seems to me that seling coins is attractve, because we know people do and after everything is cleared, the market goes up. But I don't want to be one of the worried people, cryto's survive with trust. So I HOLD
