BCC symbol belongs to BitConnect Coin, not to Bitcoin Cash?
BitConnect Coin, the fastest-growing cryptocurrency of all time, has been trading under the BCC symbol since day one. Among the top 15 cryptocurrencies in terms of market capitalization, BitConnect Coin noted the branding problem with Bitcoin Cash and the confusion that the new altcoin will create if certain bureaux de change decide to quote it as BCC.
The next bifurcation of the Bitcoin network is a topic of discussion among many in the cryptocurrency community. With the fork scheduled to happen on August 1, 2017, many exchange platforms have indicated their support for the fork of Bitcoin Cash, which they say will be included as BCC. These exchange platforms have overlooked the strong presence of BitConnect Coin in the cryptocurrency market as they focus on the developing situation on the Bitcoin front.
BitConnect is concerned about possible confusion caused by the inclusion of Bitcoin Cash as BCC in exchange houses, including those that are already supporting BitConnect Coin. Cryptocurrency urges exchange houses and trading platforms to list Bitcoin Cash under an alternate symbol to ensure traders do not get confused between the currency of BitConnect Coin and Bitcoin Cash. Otherwise, they might end up buying or selling one, instead.
If the problem with the "BCC" symbol is not resolved soon, the confusion is bound to create many problems in the coming weeks.
Since the last nine months, BitConnect Coin has seen phenomenal growth, surpassing the growth of the world's top altcoin, Ethereum. In the previous three months, cryptocurrency has registered a growth of more than 700%, which has remained stable in comparison with other altcoins. BitConnect Coin continues to show steady growth, thanks to its dedicated team and a fast growing and loyal community.
In the hope that the problem of symbols will be solved soon, BitConnect urges members of the community to be aware of the possibility of two altcoins sharing the same symbol, at least in some exchange houses as of August 1. These currencies have a big difference in value and users should make sure they are trading the correct currency to avoid any loss.
Community members can also use the BitConnect Exchange platform to buy / sell BitConnect Coin (BCC) directly from each other.
Currently the Bitcoin Cash has the symbol: BCH

BitcoinCash dev team is a mess. They just copied the Bitcoin logo and took a ticker symbol that was already used.
Good points in this blog. I was about to start a similair discussion. I strongly advice people to only buy in to cryptos that have a solid background: A solid team, product, advisors, preferably VC investors, etc. Sell all cryptos that don't have this solid background.
