The Co-Founder of Ethereum Warns that Cryptocurrencies Could "Drop to Near Zero" at Anytime
This past weekend on twitter, Vitalik Buterin, warned owners of cryptocurrencies that their prices could "drop to near zero" at anytime. This is interesting, because this is the first warning I have ever seen from someone inside the cryptocurrency community, and one of the most prominent people at that, issue this type of warning, as typically any warnings came from outside the community.
“Reminder: Cryptocurrencies are still a new and hyper-volatile asset class, and could drop to near-zero at any time. Don’t put in more money than you can afford to lose,” Mr. Buterin said.
