Bank Of America Ends Free Checking Accounts

Bank Of America recently put customers in accounts that require A $1500 balance to avoid maintenance fees. Some experts say it will adversely affect low income bank consumers. Petitions have been started to reverse the decision one being the 'change.org' petition that accumulated over 40,000 signatures in a few days.

"people with less income pay more to get cash, make payments, and conduct their business,” -Dory Rand, president of the Woodstock Institute.
