Did Bitcoin just launch for new all time highs?

If we look at the market today we see that Bitcoin is going strong. At this point in time it's up 3.72% over the last 24 hours. Sure, every coin has it shor term spike and then goes back down to the same level as befor the spike or even lower. But i've been watching Bitcoin all day and the good news is that this is not a short term spike, bitcoin actually grew steadily over the past 10 hours. This might indicate that this is more than just some small fluctuation, it might actually be the new launch after the recent correction. This is interesting, because there is still a lot of uncertainty about the fork, will bitcoin split and if it does what will it do to the price? I'm almost certain that if the split is happening the price will drop hard, and that's why i'm not putting extra money in bitcoin at this time.

What i do instead is invest in other coins. For now Bitcoin is still the leader of the pack so if bitcoin goes up, a lot of coins will follow. Then if the split happens, the whole market will be in the red i believe. But that would be for a short period, bitcoin will come back stronger, because after the split the problem will be resolved and both sides actually have what they wanted. So for now i'm holding a bit of Bitcoin, some litecoin, a bigger amount of Ether, also holding stratis, NEM, Dash and Gnosis. With that being said I might actually consider moving more into bitcoin after a split would happen and the prise dropped, because i think after that bitcoin will be shooting for the stars.
