Steemians. What are you planning to do with the BTC with this fork happening in less than 2 days? This may not be the first so be ready for BTC to fluctuate.
Bitcoin cash has caused a lot of mess recently. There are a lot of worries, excitement & confusion with the fork that will happen very soon.
The best solution I have heard so far is to convert BTC into USD/USDT to make sure it is safe and to avoid any problems. I think I will take this step.
Many are putting it into altcoins right now to secure their investment.
There are a lot of red flags with the new Bitcoin cash coin.
What are your predictions on the fork?

I took my bitcoin out of exchanges and am keeping my btc in a wallet. With segwit a foregone conclusion, btc will rise. I'm not worried about a little bit of sideways action for a few days or weeks.
Good choice, many are doing that to be on the safe side.

I am using my Exodus wallet.
I think I am going to hold on to my bitcoin cash just to see what is going to happen with it, then I am going to sell them after a bit, so I can buy more bitcoin.

I put my bitcoin on kraken because they say they will split it for us. and I never had a problem with them I trust them
Holding on to private keys and out of exchanges seems the best in my opinion. The situation will probably stabilise quicker than expected. After all, this is a free market. Not a nannycrat institution.

If a fork happens, I'm gonna dump my btcc and get bitcoin. Then I'm going to buy alts with all my bitcoin. There are a lot of crypto projects I believe in that are relatively undervalued.
I agree too. I am trying to raise funds for those and I don't have much time.
