This is brilliant. Perhaps the greatest impact is how it transforms blockchain:

Currently: more nodes = more difficulty = same work

Under 3DC: more nodes = more capacity

Doesn't it just make sense that, if you add more computing power to a network, it would increase the capability and capacity of the network? We don't have that today. Instead, we burn more and more electricity to accomplish exactly the same amount of work. This has the potential of creating a revolutionary change to that.
