Coinbase looking for investors for a Billion dollar investment mark!

Coinbase is seek to raise more than $1 billion according to the wall street journal so far Coinbase has raised about $116.5 million from various investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Union Square Venture, Draper Fisher Jurvetson as well as a number of financial institutes and the New York Stock Exchange. Yesterday the company reported that they had reached 6 million users worldwide thats a new milestone for the firm and in the pass six months there has been 2 million new Coinbase users. Coinbase is also known for its ongoing problems with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in November of last year the IRS wanted the exchange to provided details on unnamed and unknown taxpayers. However a federal judge approved the request of the IRS but Coinbase refused to comply but in May a senior Republican in the Congress stepped in to the fight possibly on Coinbase side questioning whether the IRS has a strong foundation for seeing the records of half a million people.
