The Antonovsky Bridge in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson, which is occupied, has been targeted by Ukrainian forces. According to army film released yesterday, the bridge was shelled. For the Russian soldiers controlling the city, the bridge provides a vital supply route.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, has meanwhile once more denounced Moscow for using gas supplies to Europe as a weapon and a negotiating chip, accusing it of inflicting "price horror" on the region.

Russian national gas company Gazprom is scheduled to limit gas supplies again starting on Wednesday through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, citing the need for maintenance on a turbine, a claim that was rejected by European officials.
