RE: My Notes from the Bitcoin Forking Panel Meetup @ Silicon Valley - What an Incredible Event, and the Future of Bitcoin is Bright

Great report Robert, especially for the laymen out there who have not caught up on some of the terminology & developments.

At my bitcoin meet ups in Tokyo I heard a lot of talk about what is happening now, but this was 3 weeks ago. I won't go into details about what was said, but these were miners so you can imagine the conversation.

I am on the fence about Bitcoin being a currency or store of value. Both have valid arguments. Additionally miners and devs both have valid arguments. I believe the market will decide the correct path, maybe not tomorrow or next month, but surely a year from now.

I'm with you on Ethereum. The more I looked into it and heard people speak about it's faults the more I thought of them as the Microsoft of crypto, vulnerable and buggy. Add to that the quick adoption by companies and the UN raised red flags. Honestly if I were the UN I would be more interested in a currency like SBD that is pegged to the dollar to avoid these wild swings in valuation.

Which leads me to my last point, LTC. I would rather see LTC take the place as the currency of daily use, transactional coin, and keep BTC for larger transactions, cars, houses, etc. Why not have a gold & silver of crypto? Doge can pull up the rear as a copper and everyone wins! Such peace, such simplicity.
