- Facebook implements a new policy prohibiting ads about digital currency aka cryptocurrency appear on social networking. That is, no more ads that promote the use of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, et al circulating on Facebook.
According to Facebook, cryptocurrency is nothing more than a financial product associated with misleading promotional practices. So, if allowed to advertise on its platform, Facebook means to share the things that are not true.
These cryptocurrency ads are not just not allowed in Facebook's core services, but also in its "kids" Instagram. It was delivered by Facebook executive representative, Rob Leathern
"We will continue to improve the detection ability of misleading advertising practices," he said.
