Mark Cuban Says He Will Invest In A Cryptocurrency
Just hours after saying Bitcoin was in a bubble, billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban hit the world with another bombshell: he plans to invest in another cryptocurrency.
He hasn't revealed which one yet, although we do know it's likely to be a new, upstart coin. Cuban said he will participate in an "Initial Coin Offering", similar to an IPO but with a cryptocurrency instead.
ICO offers blockchain based startups a way to raise money faster and more easily. The coin would essentially act as "shares" in the company. This new and unique use for cryptocurrencies offer just one more use for this growing field.
That's exciting news, this could definitely bring more people to Bitcoin, as well as invested.
