Comprehending this is staggering.
Whoever has control over those genesis block wallets (1000s of blocks and wallets each containing 50 Bitcoin, which was the reward per block mined at the time) will have a very very very powerful vested interest in keeping Bitcoin alive.
Most of these blocks were mined by just one computer!
Think outside the BLOCK!
The potentially richest entity on the planet would let the most powerful electronic entity on the planet die?
