FIBRE Coin destroys charts with +2,135% Pump
FIBRE Coin shot to the top of the charts today with a 2,135% increase within 5 minutes of time before crashing down again. The coin has settled into the 74k Satoshi range (.00074000), which is just under 500% up from 24 hours ago. FIBRE has been languishing around 12k Satoshi for weeks, neither rising nor falling outside a small range.
FIBRE strives to empower people to participate in the internet economy where credit cards and Paypal do not operate. Their FibreDark allows users to hide their identities via a Tor enabled wallet that hides IP addreses. They also provide FibreOS, which uses Ubuntu to provide a secure and anonymous operating system on any laptop or PC. Wallets can be kept on a USB stick, giving you true cold storage.
FIBRE is offered on Bittrex, Poloniex, Cryptsy, and C-Cex exchanges, and can be followed through social media at:

The coin looks exciting, but seems to have gone silent on social media for a year. That's not very promising for a coin that gain thousands of percent in a pump! This list lists FIBRE as a dead coin... with trading continuing, it is known as a zombie coin. http://www.regularwriting.com/2015/05/landscape-of-coins-list-of-cryptocurrencies-alive-and-dead/
The technical roadmaps look fascinating though!
Technical Roadmaps:
What is the deal with the broken blockchain?
Thanks for the information, I was looking for info about fibrecoin but there is not a lot that is easy to find. I picked up some on Bittrex, but had to get out because I found out the blockchain was dead. I was unable to send any to Poloniex. Here is a link to the block explorer with my small test txid.

Is there a proposed fix, am I missing something? I don't see why exchanges would have zombie pockets of bad coins, but nothing would surprise me at this point! The lesson here is always wait for a dip and do your due diligence before you dive into a new coin. Just because it is listed does not mean it has to work. I don't see how anything on the fibrecoin technical roadmap will be possible when the coin can't be sent.
I think that developers have good intentions sometimes, but if the coins don't keep value, there's no point in keeping it going. What I find troubling are the exchanges.... they are basically propping up their own holdings, if the blockchain is broken. Basically dead decentralized coins are being kept alive by centralized companies. Shame!
WOW, I can't believe it, I have three confirmations on my FIBRE. I guess the blockchain is still working after all.

Thanks for the confirmation! I guess dead = barely alive and kicking! :)
