RE: Cryptoland Happenings 8/28/18 ~ $7000 🎉 Bull Market Starting? 📈 🤗
idk if i really wanna take a crypto course. You can learn pretty much everything on crypt by reading a few of the books and how to understand blockchain, or just read peoples articles on steemit, while using crypto and putting in effort on cryptocurrency hahaha. if anything i would like to just take a programming course and learn how to develop my own DAPP on some blockchain, no mater how cool or crappy it is, i want to make one! so im gunna have to go somewhere to learn how to code!
Whats the entire point of crypto?
i think the point of crypto is to get away from centralization, and universities are about as centralized as they come so why would they be teaching everything that is important about blockchain? Let me know what you think!!
Coding is fun and easier to get into than you might think.. You might get started with basics of python or javascript using https://www.codecademy.com/ I think javascript is a good one in this industry because you can make dapps that run completely within the browser! Take some irl courses, too, if that's an option for you!
it certainly seems like universities are authoritarian centralized machine makers, some times.. but, They need to adapt to the times, just like everything else, especially if they want to stay relevant. Youtube, codacademy and online options are certainly 'decentralizing' the school industry, which was desperate for some good competition.
Ultimately, people go to universities for degrees from trusted authorities.. I'd say the consciousness around who has authority to grant degrees is changing, with online reputation cultivation.
Google and Apple no longer require degrees to work there..
