Cryptocurrency Apocalypse
Does anyone know CPR? We need a defibrillator over here! Someone please call emergency medical services. This is a bloodbath!
The cryptocurrency apocalypse is upon us.
I've been tracking the trends in the market by analyzing charts, listening to the community and its subcultures. There's a lot of fear, uncertainty, and doubt being spread around and rightfully so.
Here are some notable mentions:
- Most major currencies began their record setting bullish run in May 2017.
- They hit their peak in the first two weeks of June 2017.
- The past few weekends have been bearish seeing larger declines in price.
- $40 billion has left the overall marketplace since June 2017.
- Bitcoin's percentage of market share grows as the market cap gets smaller.
- The August 1st deadline for changes to Bitcoin is an underlying factor.
Here's what I think is going to happen:
- Major currencies will continue weekly declines leading up to August 1st.
- Bitcoin's percentage of market share will continue to grow.
- The marketplace will continue to see declines in its overall market cap.
- Most major currencies will revert close to their price from the beginning of May 2017.
- The market will stabilize around the middle of August.
- Bitcoin will continue its long-term rise in price leading into 2018.
What I am going to do:
- Continue to analyze data, and listen to the community and its subcultures.
- Keep fiat currency in reserve to be able to purchase major currencies at a "discount".
- Frequent Steemit.com because this platform is so awesome!

Buy when everybody panics and sell when everything gets close to all-time high is my strategy.
I see some using your strategy and it works well for them. Some are even making a living in doing so. I am a long term investor. Thanks for your reply.

The weekend lows should be lower as we approach August 1st. I am keeping some "powder dry" for the fire sale. LoL

But in reality 100 + Billion dolars in crypto at this point is a joke.
This is real spendable money! not dept riddled BS central bank notes.
I'm wondering how much hard cash is available in every currency around the world? and would there be enough to purchase all the crypto if we so chose?
Not in your life :-) Many early addopters are shall we say well off now LOL.
But it will be some time before those numbers are valid I'm thinking.
What am I doing? liquidating some assets and buying steem while it's cheap!

Crypto is on the map big time and here to stay. banks will adapt or go the way of the dodo bird, and the governments they control some day.

Thanks and I sincerely appreciate the follow. It appears the market has rebounded quite a bit since I wrote this post. At least $20 billion has found its way back into play. This has me pondering a brand new post on this subject. I like your strategy about buying STEEM. I am a long term investor into crypto now. I am as convinced it's here to stay as well.
