This is too funny not to share with my fellow Romanian (And Not Only) crypto miners out there from the 80's generation!!!
Hey guys, this is a small happening that I really find worth sharing with you!
So, a few minutes ago this friend of mine sends me this old propaganda song about Miners form the Golden Age of Romania's "good old" communist times and he's like: "Yo, bro, did you know that if you play this song while mining your has rate rises to almost 300%!? I just hit the play button and I'm already mining on an average of 110 MH/s " :)))))
*Just for the record his rig at the time being has and average of 55 MH/s :)
But this is not the point of the thing.
Let me explain this concept a bit. Back in communist time, every plan/target ever made in the industry, let's say on agriculture, they head to farm 10.000 tons of grain on that season, well, that target was always overachieved by 300%, 400%, 1000% percent and so one. And every time this happened, meaning all the time, they would brag about it on the radio and TV with propaganda.
The second after I read this message I literally screamed with laughing tears! My God, it really made my day!
Now, to give a brief insight on what the Miner meant to the Regime, and I don't want to discuss communist politics, just for the record. He was a True Hero, a living legend because he was the Man who was down there, every day, in the deep dark pits of the underground dedicating and risking his own life for mining the resources that head paved the way for the Great and Bright Socialist future.
The song is called - The Miners and the sky - and it goes something like this, I will translate it for you guys who don't understand or never heard of Romania and her language.
"The miner, alone he builds his own sky, the miner, from small glowing lamps he makes his moon, stars and sun just like a wizard... the miner, with one hand he can reach the sky and in the night he can lit up the stars and moon and with a though he casts away a cloud, he knows what a dream is because he alone has opened for himself, a road on the dark paths and there under the ground he keeps his word, the word he gave in front of his whole country "
Now, the part that I found most funny about it that back then this didn't make any sense, I mean it did, in a way, for some who believed in this whole propaganda, and ironically the other most amusing part form my point of view is that it makes a lot more sense now, it times totally opposite of those times. :)
If you find this at least as funny as I did, feel free to upvote, comment and even open a distinction about it.
But remember this is more or less a joke, so please take it as it is. I have no intention of making this a political thing. ;)
Cheers!
