Two Cool Crypto Conversion Apps

This quote can apply to the Crypto world. Just make sure you surround yourself with the right people. Everyone has their own way of doing things. Some like using the old-fashioned calculator when doing CryptoCurrency conversions. If you are trading on exchanges, you will want something to break it down to the last Satoshi. This really gives you an advantage when converting to other currencies. You can also use webpage conversion calculators. If you google Bitcoin to USD conversion or whatever your currency is, something should come up. The toughest part with any calculator is making sure they sync with an exchange and update the $BTC (or other currency) in real-time. I prefer using an app calculator. This way I can watch the price on the exchange on my computer screen and calculate conversions with my mobile device. I personally use an iPhone. I have no affiliations to any of these apps. They do offer for both iOS and Android devices.

I have looked high and low for solutions. Downloading apps is hit or miss. Often times the apps have ads or are loaded with spyware and nasty shit. Bitkoin.io makes a stripped down bare bones calculator. It converts $BTC to $USD. The app allows you to customize with various countries’ currencies. It also allows you to customize the color scheme. The only downside is with the various exchanges, the price of $BTC might be a little different than your exchange. In my experience, it has been fairly accurate. The other negative is it only converts $BTC to your countries’ currency. The best part is it is free. There is a desktop version as well.

CryptoCurrency Converter Calculator

If you are converting between Alt-Coins, you will need something more tailored for that. The CryptoCurrency Converter Calculator app makes this process very easy. The app is a little heavier on your mobile device, but it will convert a shit ton of Alt-Coins. The down side is they put ads on the app. It's free so just deal with it! There are a lot of other apps out there that I am sure will work just as good, if not better. Please feel free to send me a message if you have a better option.

Last Thoughts
I personally like using the first Bitcoin converter and a regular calculator. That usually handles 99.9% of your calculating needs. I have no affiliations to any of these apps. I am sure there are probably other solutions out there, but these work for me. It is always good to have these tools at your disposal when you are actively investing or trading.

TIP: Practice using these apps or calculators and learn how to convert between various currencies. In other words, plan ahead. Learning to calculate this stuff quickly will help you trade more efficiently and hopefully save money. Sometimes a few minutes is the difference of losing $50 bucks or more on a trade. If you can not accurately do calculations under pressure, then practice practice practice!

Blockfolio is an awesome app to track your CryptoCurrency investments. They have a real-time ticker and every coin available. Most of my friends who are pro traders use this app. I am sure there are others, but I really love this little app.
